Wrestling star Hulk Hogan has been injured after a freak boating accident.

The 60-year-old and his friend were left covered in glass after the windshield on his Sea Ray boat suddenly shattered.
 
The semi-retired wrestler described the event in a series of Twitter posts on Sunday evening.
 
“How come every time we go out on the boat someone ends up bleeding?” Mr Hogan wrote on the social networking site.
 
“Today both me and Dr Crespo ended up covered in blood, the windshield on my boat exploded because of the wind and speed on the water, crazy… And it wasn’t the go fast Scarab, it was my slower Sea Ray, oh well time to saddle up again brother.”
