The winning bidder will also get the “opportunity to experience the race as a member of the crew during the finale in Gothenburg, Sweden”, according to a CharityStars spokesperson.
CharityStars said in a statement: “Whilst in Gothenburg they will participate in a sailing race on board Azzam, the Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing boat, and receive the one-of-a-kind timepiece from skipper Walker himself.”
Walker supports the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation, whose patrons include a number of top athletes, including Edwin Moses and Boris Becker.
The watch is worth just under £10,000 and bidding starts at £7,500.
