Vanquish releases the designs for its new VQ75 Veloce
The VQ75 Veloce promises a top speed of 50 knots as well as a flexible layout making it suitable for charter or private ownership.
Vanquish Yachts in the Netherlands has released the designs for a new powerboat, the VQ75 Veloce.
Designed in partnership with Guido de Groot, the new VQ75 is fully customisable.
It is available both as an open dayboat and as a closed version, with a large transparent sunroof that opens all the way.
It has plenty of layout options as well as several possibilities in terms of motorisation.
As on all Vanquish yachts, there are plenty of areas to socialise, sunbathe or relax.
A special feature of the VQ75 Veloce, however, will be the option to stay on board for longer periods thanks to the addition of an owner, VIP and two guest cabins or a crew cabin.
As a result, the new 75-foot model bridges the gap between the VQ48/VQ50 and the VQ90 design which was unveiled earlier this year.
A major difference with the VQ90, however, is that the VQ75 Veloce can easily be sailed by just two people, removing the need for a crew and making it ideal for a couple.
If a crew cabin is added and the galley is separated from the guests’ quarters, the boat becomes exceptionally well suited to chartering.
The flexible layout can even be arranged in a way that allows space for a garage to house a VQ16 water scooter.
The VQ75 Veloce comes with surface drives to guarantee the 50-knot top speed, making it one of the fastest motor yachts in its category.
A non-Veloce version of the VQ75 is also available with a less powerful engine configuration, still offering a top speed of around 40 knots.
The low resistance hull is a further development on the highly successful VQ48, an open sports boat which has the capacity to keep passengers dry at all times.
The VQ75 will also benefit from noise insulation, ensuring very little sound penetrating into the sleeping quarters.
The latest stabiliser technology is an option that allows stability and comfort to be optimised even at anchor.
